Liscannor secured victory on Saturday 12th June in first round of the championship against Miltown.
It was tough game in which Miltown were on top for most of the first half. However by half time the Liscannor men were only 2 points down.
The second half started well for Liscannor and with the introduction of substitute Dara Blake was a huge boost for the team. He managed to get himelf into a perfect position to rocket home a goal giving Liscannor the lead.
The game was exciting with Miltown never giving up however the goal was crucial and with 4 points from Mid fielder Brian Considine they secured victory.
This was a crucial tie for Liscannor to win and in the group of death as there group is known it is beneficial to have 3 points when facing into the next round on the 7/8th August against ST Senans Kilkee.
